Town of Braintree

HUBBARD

Empty Cubbard

And the cubbard was bare like his inside his chrome dome.

Save Braintree, YAH, Right !

For the first time in a long time our Selectman call for an evening out of the tax burden and this ahole cries for the downtrodden business community.

Business has enjoyed the Bush tax cuts, the Romney tax cuts and for business to also enjoy a cut on the local tax amounts to the hat trick, the big troika in my book.

Quality of life in this town sucks, traffic, trucks, emissions, congestion, a more than tripled daytime population, trains everywhere, highways, plazas, oil tank farms, polluted water !

And business deserves a tax break.

I'd gladly pay more in taxes if we were a residential town like Dover or a Hingham; but we're not and business should pay more of the tax burden for the priveledge of siting their business right here in conveniently located Braintree where our town act like whores to new business.

Braintree has never said no to new business.

It's about time for business to ante up and carry your fair share of the tax burden.

Ease Off Wipeheads!

Democracy provides for expression of opinion and on the most rare occasion is ever there unanimous consent on any issue. Doesn't mean minority views are worthless any more than the 54 million who voted for John Kerry, but Bush got more votes one way or another. I concur in concept the max shift should have happened, but that wasn't done either (200% shift), so we'll live this year with the 192% and agree to disagree with Mr. Hubbard. What distresses me is the vote was only 3-1 with one member missing a critical annual vote of the BOS. That disturbs me deeply. Ease off Joe and stop wiping your bitterness on his head. It sure isn't his fault that he is folicly challenged like a lot of us are. Happy Thanksgiving to All and to all, a Good Night!

What does he do??

What does Joe hubbard do for a living, maybe he has a small business! i was surprised that he was for giving the plza a break, it is always about saving money for the business.maybe if we help the tax payers, we can then help the schools, fire, and police departments or maybe just the homeowner

Show me the money

Why did Hubbard vote to give businesses a tax break?

Follow the money people. He got BIG BUCKS from the lawyers for the Plaza and a certain car dealer in Braintree.

Its always about the money. He's just doing what he's getting paid to do.
