BrickStreet Arts Association has had many successes in working with established arts and neighborhood organizations.

During the summer of 2001, BrickStreet concluded the two-year project Side by Side. Together with the Harrison West Society, BrickStreet secured funding for the design, fabrication and installation of this pair of stainless steel sculptures in the Harrison West neighborhood in central Columbus. Working with a variety of government agencies and private foundations, corporate sponsors, civic associations, and private donors, over $70,000 has been raised towards this project.

BrickStreet is also committed to expanding awareness of public art and providing educational arts experiences for the community. BrickStreet organizes an annual tour of public art, designed to promote neighborhood cohesion while making the general public more aware of the benefits of public art in the city.

During 1999 and 2000, BrickStreet organized three free arts-related educational activities for residents of historic neighborhoods.
