The Brookhollow Owner's Association (HOA) is comprised of homeowners from Brookhollow and Ashford Place, both of which are located off Hood Road South between Shad Road and Losco Road.
The HOA is represented by two Board Members who hold Mayoral appointments to the Southeast Citizen's Planning and Advisory Board (CPAC). There are six CPACs in Jacksonville, one for each of the city's Planning Districts. The CPAC's purpose is to maintain open and effective lines of communication between Jacksonville residents, businesses, neighborhoods, community organizations, educational institutions and government. The input from the CPACs will be used in developing the Five-Year Capital Improvement Program for the city, the amendment and update of various elements of the 2010 Comprehensive Plan, and in the development of other social and economic programs.
Brookhollow and Ashford Place are currently located in City Council District 6, represented by Council Member Mary Ann Southwell, and School Board District 3, represented by Kris Barnes. Due to the recent redistricting both Brookhollow and Ashford Place will be located in Council District 5 as of the 2003 City Council election. District 5 is currently represented by Council Member Matt Carlucci.
