Green Thumb Itchy? Plant indoors.

The ground may be semi-frozen outside but you can still exercise your green thumb--and improve your cooking at the same time. Just start a little mini-garden in your kitchen by planting some fresh herbs and vegetables. It's really pretty easy: all you need are some planters, soil, seeds and light. In well-lit areas, you can grow parsley, chives, mint and rosemary, as well as special-container tomatoes and peppers. Even in light-challenged areas you can grow beans, lentils, radishes and onions.
