Cornado Shores Condominium Association #9 (C.S.C.A. #9), is a 148 unit high rise condominium building. It is one of ten towers located in the Coronado Shores complex, situated just south of the Hotel del Coronado, in Coronado, California. The 148 units are each individually owned. Some are utilized as second homes or vacation homes, some are rented and some are used as a permanent residence. The owners are represented by a five member Board of Directors, elected anually (staggered terms), and day-to-day operations are managed by an on-site manager. Board members have varying duties, with assignments to different committees in addition to their regular Board duties.

Located south of the Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, California, Coronado Shores Condominium Association #9 (El Mirador/C.S.C.A. #9) was the ninth of ten high rises built in the seventies, that make up, the Coronado Shores, the finest beachfront condominium complex in the world. There are eight tennis courts, four pools, a beach club, spa and pavilion, located on the grounds. Security patrol the complex 24/7 and the lobbies of each association are secured 24/7.

Contrary to popular belief these are not hotels, but rather, individually owned condominiums that make up ten different associations. Each association is individually governed by a Board of Directors which employs a staff and management to carry out their direction and policies. While, the associations are in large part, very much alike, they do have their own rules and regulations and governing documents that are specific to the individual association.
