REMODELING UPDATE

The remodeling has been completed. However, there are areas where some finish work remains.
The lower lobby exit into the garage needs a threshold to connect the new tile with the garage surface. The upper lobby exit, behind the elevator, also needs a threshold. These will be done by the time this newsletter is distributed. The door edges are another item. They need to be painted. Many of them are still blue. These are just two of many finish details to be done. The Board of Directors, manager, and designer walked through the entire building to ensure the completeness of work, and to point out any deficiencies that need attention. With any project this size, there will be problems. The identification and correction of those problems are the final phase of this project.
Concern has been expressed that the elevator foyers on each floor are a bit dull. The Board is aware of this and will address it as funds allow. Some suggestions include chairs, a bench, or maybe mirrors. All are possibilities. Ultimately, there may be a combination of these or just one of the items. These changes, whatever they may be, will not take place until next year, when reserves are available.
