AZschaefer - so you were on the board? What happened? I heard you missed a several of the board meetings. Since you are in the running again, do you plan on being at every meeting? I think that is going to be one of my criterias for a new board member. If you can't make every meeting - why run?

Im pretty sure im not going to vote for Paul. but I have seen him out there on a regular basis talking with the landscapers. He does have the commitment level required.

And BG, I heard from a neighbor who attended the last meeting - is it true your actions cost the hoa several thousand dollars in legal fees? Everything I hear is hearsay so I do not know what to beleive! One thing I know, I did not like your letter posted on my door last week..

Yes, I was on the board until Feb., when myself along with 2 other board members resigned on the same night. There are many reasons and issues why this happened and I can't give you a lot of details due to confidentiality but I will say that there was a definite lack of confidence, respect and team work that caused me to resign. I can't speak for anyone else.

Yes, I did miss a few meetings. However, that is not a direct reflection of my commitment to the community and whether or not I can uphold my responsiblities as a board member. I wouldn't run if I wasn't committed to doing my best for this community. I, like many other people, have a full-time job. There are scheduling conflicts that come up and if we don't have the meetings scheduled properly with the school ahead of time as I suggested last year then I can't schedule my entire life around those meetings.

You are entitled to use whatever criteria you choose to make your selection and if you don't vote for me, I am o.k. with that.  However, I will not apologize for my job being a priority. You seem to care for the community just as much as I do, have you thought of running for the board? We can always use good leadership.

Rockwell:

As Castlegate (our Treasure) has stated before, the Attorney fees that we have been paying are from PAST DUE fees.  I do not believe I caused any Attorney fees.  As a homeowner I have the right to petition for removal of a board member.  Oasis kept running to their attorney, I am unsure if they tried to put the cost over to the HOA or not. This question might be better answered by Castlegate.

As far as a letter put on your door last week, it was not mine.  I blanked the Community today and yesterday, if you received something last week it was not from me.  If you are referring to my letter from yesterday or today, you always have the right to toss it in the garbage.  I know many people have responded to me with "Thanks", and e-mailing me with questions, resulting in "you can count on my vote".  I will be starting another posting with all my views and thoughts.

I do know Mike Hunt has been fighting a long uphill battle, with little or no help from anyone.  It's got to wear you out.  Seeing areas that could help, only to know you will have to battle not only board memebers but the community as well. Mike you have been doing a great job, keep up the hard work.

Castlegate: Thank you for clarifying what I have been saying for sometime, this is the first time anyone has got on this blog and was honest as to why we are in the mess we are in, I have heard over and over again that is was because this company and that has raised it's prices( to which I will say here I know that was some of the case) but not once did I hear anyone who is on the board say it was because spending was out of control. I am glad to hear at last that has stopped and to let you know I am aware you push for this to stop some time ago. I know at time you must of thought this was not worth the headache but I can say from the last meeting , you stood up and inform some on the broad  we didn't have the money and I could see that maybe that was one argument you won on this board. And I am sure you made that argument more than just a few time before it finally sunk into some of the board member head.

A note here just a thought at the beginning you mention something about Kachina not telling us about the spending and what was in our account! Didn't you get anything from them like a financial report? I know our property super was like a revolting door there for awhile but, then Brett came in I think it was the last year didn't he know what our finances were? Then my next thought  would be, as the treasurer do you go over the books with Oasis to make sure everything is up and up or do you just take their word?  not accusing anyone of anything let me make that clear, but after all the problems we had with Kachina I just think this is something one should ask.
