Cedar Grove Park Association was formed in 1968 by Maywood Builders to develop and maintain the residential subdivision of Cedar Grove Park.
All owners of Cedar Grove Park homes are automatically members of CGPA. In the case of joint owners, however, voting membership is limited to one vote per home.
CGPA dues are $195 per quarter and are due on the first day of each calendar quarter. Dues payments should be mailed to CGPA, PO Box 2541, Fairfax, VA 22031.
CGPA dues are used to pay for all the necessary costs of making Cedar Grove Park an excellent place to live, such as trash and recycling collection, grounds maintenance (including snow removal), landscaping, street lights, street and sidewalk repair, and insurance.
The Association is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by majority vote of the membership at an annual meeting held near the end of each year. Vacancies occurring on the Board during the year are filled by majority vote of the Board members. The Board meets monthly to discuss the needs of the community and decide how to meet them.
The 2012 Directors are Pat Smith, Tina Wilson, Inge Gottus, Susan McElheny, and Judy Keene.
