Lucky Timing for 2012 Tree Removal

A very large tree that had twice been hit by lightning and was dying is cut down by R. S. Tree and Landscape Service. Not long after, a severe storm swept through our area, downing trees and power lines and putting Cedar Grove Park in the dark for almost two days.  If this tree were still standing, in all likelyhood the storm would have sent it crashing into one or more of the nearby homes.
