Central UMC Garden Club
Welcome to Central Garden Club
The purpose of this group is to plan and to maintain the gardens of the historical Central United Methodist Church in Detroit, Michigan.
Memorial Garden
The Memorial Garden nestles against the church's northwest corner along Woodward Avenue. Designed to be serene and peaceful year-around, it features a weeping cherry tree surrounded by flagstone paving and a variety of groundcovers. A climbing vine graces the church wall in the summertime.
Adams Street Garden
Facing the south, the raised bed along Adams Street is home to shrubs, perennials, Springtime bulbs, and groundcovers.
