Chaminade Opera Group

The Chaminade Opera Group was founded in 1959, and is the only community opera group in New England to have survived for over 40 years. The organization is highly respected throughout New England (particularly in Boston and Providence) for high performance levels. The group annually performs a fully-staged, fully-orchestrated opera. Performances have included Bizet's Carmen, Verdi's La Traviata, Puccini's Turandot, Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado, and many others. Programs are presented in the Attleboro, Massachusetts area.

Chaminade Oratorio Group

The oratorio group presents an annual spring concert consisting of both classical and contemporary works. The fully-orchestrated program is performed by a 50-member chorus. Past performances have included Requiems by Brahms, Verdi, Mozart, and Andrew Lloyd Webber; Poulenc's Gloria, Tippet's A Child of our Time, Copeland's In the Beginning, along with works by Daniel Pinkham, Randall Thompson and
others.

Pops Concert & Broadway Bash

Chaminade holds two annual fund-raising events:
1. The Pops Concert takes place in the summer, with group members presenting light-hearted show tunes in a cabaret format. Festivities include hors d'oevres and a cash bar, a raffle for several gift baskets, and a grand prize of two complimentary tickets to our Broadway Bash.
2. The Broadway Bash is held in the autumn, with group members performing concert versions of Broadway plays. The evening includes dinner, dancing to live music, a silent auction, and gift raffles.
