Churchill Estates is a North Central San Antonio community of 875 estate and garden homes. Development of the subdivision, which is bounded by Huebner Road and Blanco Road, began in the mid 1970's and continues today.
Contemporary homes occupy spacious lots in a tree-lined neighborhood resplendent with live oaks, ashe junipers, crape myrtles, mountain laurels, cedar elms, and palms. A community swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, basketball goal, and playscape are recreational amenities available to all residents. We do not have a clubhouse, but the pool area and pavilion are available for residents to rent during the months that the pool is open for swimming. Churchill Estates Boulevard, the 1.5-mile thoroughfare intersecting most streets in the subdivision, has a designated bike lane for cyclists, runners, and walkers.
The Churchill Estates Homes Association, Inc. is led by a nine-member Board of Directors. Other groups active in the subdivision include the Stallions Swim Team.
Annual events include an Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July Parade and Barbecue, Yard of the Month Contest, and Holiday Decorating Contest.
The subdivision is in the North East Independent School District. Children attend Huebner Road Elementary, Eisenhower Middle School, and Churchill High School. Churchill Estates is in City Council District 9 and voting precinct 3078.

The CEHA Board of Directors is a nine member all-volunteer group. They are residents of the subdivision who donate many hours a week to make our neighborhood safer, cleaner, and better. Board members are elected to three-year terms at the annual CEHA homeowner's meeting in December. Each Board member serves as an officer or committee chair. Current Board members and their positions are listed in the Directory. In their decision-making, Board members are guided by the Articles of Incorporation, the By-Laws that were enacted when Churchill Estates subdivision development began in 1975, and the Restrictive Covenants that pertain to the subdivision.
If you would like to serve on the Board or on a committee, please let one of the Board members know. They welcome your assistance and appreciate your ideas.
