Colony Park Neighborhood Association Inc.

The land for the Colony Park and Lakeside Neighborhoods was annexed in 1972, with most residents assigned to Bergtrom AFB.  Other famalies moved in mostly veterans.  Upon the closure of the AFB the area started to deteriorate and memebers of the community banned together and formed the Colony Park Neighborhood Association Inc.  The Colony Park Neighborhood Association is a 501C3 Orginazation.  In 2014 the Colony Park/Lakeside Community Developemet Corpration was formed and is also a 501C3 organization. The purpose of the Neighborhood Association and the Community Development Corp. is to improve the quality of life in the community through education, and charitable activities
