Summer 08 New Lt with the NPO CC

We are fortunate to have Lt. McCully assigned North.

Lt McCully is now the commanding officer over the neighborhood policing program in the north part of the city. He returns to the program as one of the command staff and has been with the GPD for 15 years including 10 years with the NPO program.He served the areas east and west. Lt McCully then went on to be a shift supervisor in patrol and received the significant honor of supervisor of the year last year 2007.He also has a masters degree from UT Dallas in Early Childhood Development and Early Childhood Development Disorders.
He is known as the first police officer to be a Certified CPTED by the national association. This means that Lt McCully is trained in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design.He is a gifted speaker on the subject and we hope to have him talk to us about our property design at some later date.
