Garland launches an emergency alert system called CodeRED

This system will let residents know of emergencies that include situations of all natures . It will dial a huge number of contacts in an emergency.Situational examples are notice of flooded areas, evacuation of an area, health alerts, hazardous material spills , and so forth.
