Community Care Center in Garland at 505 W Centerville , now under new ownership, was visited by our local press. They noted a need for lap blankets for residents sitting in wheelchairs.Linda Jarish is coordinating the drive with a due date of April 7. Some ideas that do not require sewing are to cut 2 piece of felt, cut ties on the pieces and tie them together .
