Coomer Creek Neighborhood Association

I believe that I read that there was an event in downtown Garland called First Saturday. Does anyone know if it is a one time thing or is this going to be a montly event? I would love for a ''flea market'' or the like to start down there!

First Sat Downtown

This is a regular event organized last year by the merchants.Their coucilperson brought a commitee together and they now have a stronger voice with the city. Events vary but it is fun, bargins , and , music in the evenings .Jazz is at the Bistro and the fiddlers play on the square.The Garland Opry has some performances as well as the scheduled Performing Arts Center events. It has become quite a place to go.
