It wasn’t long before the homeowner’s felt the need to unify their new neighborhood and formed the Country View Homeowner’s Association in 1984. On July 23, 1985 the association was incorporated and Rick Weld assumed the position of association president. Joe Gaydos became treasurer and his wife Maureen served as secretary.
There have been many activities initiated and sponsored by the Country View Homeowners Association. A bicycle derby, a Halloween haunted house, a Christmas hayride, a Easter egg hunt, a neighborhood garage sale, as well as awards acknowledging outstanding yards and Christmas decorations just to name a few. Association members have also given of their time in support of a Neighborhood Watch program and more currently as part of the Cellular on Patrol (C.O.P.) organization. In order to preserve out neighborhood and the interests of its residents the association has been active in city zoning issues.
