Caring for local water quality
This a group of science oriented volunteers in the Cape Fear watershed who cooperate with city, state, and national organizations to keep polutants out of and restore the streams where they live.
Motivated volunteers needed
Water quality issues in sensitive coastal areas are emerging as a major concern of public officials, environmental groups, fishermen and future generations.
Public awareness Lags behind
Training, research, demonstration projects and educational materials are available. Volunteers of all ages are needed.
