Dear All in Centenial Place,  We live off of Lexington Ave. And discovered a broken piece of our neighbor's fence in our backyard.  We were not sure how that happened.  Then today while at my kitchen window 3-4 kids or early teens were about to go over that fence area.  One got over and ran.  I went out my back door and told them to get out of my yard and they are breaking my neighbor's fence.  Also said if I see them again in my yard I will call the police on them.

Parents, please advise your kids/teens they will get in trouble with the law if they trespass in other people's yards AND no climbing fences as they have been breaking them.  Had I had camera or cell phone handy I would have take a picture of them and turned them into the police.   Let this be a warning.

CENTENNIAL PLACE FENCE JUMPERS AT IT AGAIN!

I am replying to my own message as fence jumping is still happening.  My neighbor next to me took a picture of the kids this past weekend who were trying to cut through our yards AGAIN!  He did call the police to report it.  Plus ,my other neighbor accross the steet saw them too.  I will not hesitate to do the same and take pictures of them in the act and turn it into the police.

Parents, please tell your kids/teens this is wrong to do and they could get in trouble with law plus pay for any damages they do to fences if caught.  Teach them better to respect other peoples property and not be so lazy to have to go walk down the street to get to the next street.  This will not be tolerated!

Would if they jumped a fence where there is a dog that could bite them?  I do not wish any harm on any of them.  They have to be careful who's yard they go in without asking first.

Ok, I have said my peace about this.

Wow, thanks, I had NO IDEA why my fence was falling apart like that!  Now I know, and now I am mad!

They cut through my yard regularly and I always stop them and make them go back the other way. I know where these kids leave but trust me the parents do not care and will do nothing about it. I recently planted new sod in my back yard and before it had time to root good they were running though the yard kicking up sod behind them. Sod is not cheap. I also have to regularly clean up cans, bottles and other trash they drop when passing though. I think I am going to let my brother's 80 lb rotweiler spend a few weeks in my back yard.
