The Crown Point Homeowners Association (HOA) was established in 1984 to provide ongoing maintenance and protection of the community and its common grounds and enhancement of the value of the community, as provided for in the Declaration of Conditions, Covenants & Restrictions (CC&R’s) and the By-Laws.
Contained in the CC&R’s are regulations by which the HOA is governed. This includes the requirement of prior written request and approval of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) of the HOA of any changes or work that alters the exterior appearance of your home or lot: (e.g. changes to exterior paint colors, the installation of a storage shed, etc.) Please keep in mind when submitting a request that the ARC has up to 30 days from the date of receipt to approve, or deny your submission, or to request any additional information. For you convenience, an Architectural Review Committee Request for Approval form is attached. (Please understand the above is only one example of numerous regulations. You are encouraged to familiarize yourself with all CC&R’s.)
The By-Laws provide for: meetings of HOA members; a non-paid Board of Directors (elected or appointed persons who agree to serve and represent all homeowners); and the assessment of shared costs for maintaining the common areas. You will receive a billing statement before each assessment period. Assessment payments are considered delinquent after 30 days.
An Annual Meeting of the membership of the Crown Point HOA is held each year during the month of January. Matters addressed at the Annual Meeting include election of the Board Members, a report on the financial status of the HOA and voting regarding changes/updates to the HOA documents. Notification of the Annual Meeting date and time will be sent to all members. We encourage you to attend.
Planned Development Services, Inc. has been retained by the Association to act as our agent to handle the business and financial matters of the HOA, including monitoring homeowners for compliance with CC&R’s and notifications if violations are identified. If you have any questions about your assessment account, any notifications you’ve received or concerns with the physical maintenance of the common areas, please contact Tom Richards at Planned Development (623) 298-3318, identifying yourself as a resident of Crown Point.
