Glenmuir neighbors,

When we arrived home last night around midnight (Friday, 2 June) we pulled into our driveway to find a person hiding in the grass on the side of our house. He waited on the ground while I kept my headlights on him, but eventually he got up and ran away. He was either latino or caucasian wearing a dark t-shirt, dark shorts, and a ballcap worn backwards.

We called the police and waited for them to arrive. 30 minutes later (a concern within itself) a squad car arrived and the officer search our proximity. Needless to say, the prowler was long gone. However, I wanted to inform as many residents in the neighborhood as possible.

Sincerely,
Randy

Re: Prowler

Hi Kevin,

We live in Clearmeadow Court.

We visited our neighbors in the cul-de-sac and the row of houses that run along the pond behind our house to raise the awareness of this issue.

In fact, our awareness was raised!

We found out: (1) Someone tried to break into a neighbor's house at 2:30 a.m. last night/this morning, (2) A ''peeping tom'' peeped-in on another neighbor a month ago (after drilling holes in the window frame to maneuver the vertical blinds), and (3) A different neighbor's screened-in back porch was entered and the back door was tried.

Interesting...

I'll bring this to Rich Roland's attention.

Re: Prowler info

You stories sound like what happened to us last Thanksgiving. We live on a retention pond off Arborside Bend and drove home one night after midnight to find a prowler crouching on the side of our house. He hid by the retention pond thinkning we could not see him but we turned our car lights to shine on him. He was white and dressed in a black shirt. He then ran off. We called the sherifs--they came out fairly quickly, but of course he was gone. We thought he may have come over the wall on 535. Sounds like we all need to be very careful. Steve Dunegan
