Neighbors looking out for Neighbors

Join the Board of Daybreak Homeowners Association in activating and supporting the Daybreak Neighborhood Watch Program.

Now, more than ever, it is important AND effective for neighbors to take an organized stand against crime in our neighborhoods. By banding together to learn ways to sharpen our crime-fighting skills we can minimize the chances that criminals have to harm us.

Street Captains Needed

We are trying to cover Daybreak area by asking for street captains on EVERY street in the Daybreak Neighborhood. We only have about a 20% coverage at this point. We need neighbors to take an active part in helping fight crime. If you are available to meet with us a mere 3 times a year, please contact Tammy Sears, DHA President, at tls11258@midsouth.rr.com to sign up. You will be included in important meetings with Lt. Mack from the police department, as well as representing your street when concerns arise.

Daybreak Neighborhood Watch- What To Do

FIRST- Get to know your neighbors. What are their normal routines. Get to know each other is the first step towards helping to protect each other.

2- Get familiar with routines on your street. Familiarity is key when you witness something that might appear out of the ordinary. This is when you need to speak up!

3- If you witness suspicious behavior, CALL THE POLICE 385-5555 or 385-5558

4- Notify your neighbors!!!!

5- CALL PHONE TREE

Lastly, as a Neighborhood Watch group we will follow up with the police department on the outcome of the incident....and LEARN what we could do to prevent it.
