The Decatur Township Civic Council was established in 1953. We are active in land development, zoning, civic affairs, transportation and legislation. Join with us and help shape the future of the community. You must be 18 years old and a resident of Decatur Township. You must be a member for 90 days to vote. At our meetings you will find information about what is happening in the Township, how to help plan for the future of Decatur, and be able to vote for or against proposed developments. Before every election we sponsor a Candidate’s Night so that you can ask the questions that interest you most and be an informed voter. Our meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the last Monday of each month (except May and Dec.) at the Decatur Middle School, Large Group Instruction Room. The exact dates are listed on the back of your membership card. Membership costs only $3 per year. Membership year is from July 1.
