Minutes of the Annual Meeting
June 18, 2002
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 by Barbara Lehmann.
Proposed Boundary Change: Responding to concerns expressed by Palo Verde residents at the April 29th meeting held at Doolen M.S., that they are divided down the middle of their street between two separate neighborhood associations, and they are concerned about interference from the neighborhood association, the residents on the east side of Palo Verde should be given the chance to decide whether they want to remain with, or be released from Dodge/Flower N.A. The consensus was to ensure notification of all Palo Verde residents of the proposed boundary change, with a vote to be taken at the next meeting, based on the opinions of the Palo Verde residents.
Proposed Bylaw Changes: Two versions of proposed changes were presented. John Sherman made a motion to further study the proposed bylaw changes, seconded by Hugh McCarthy.
Committee Assignments: A sign-up sheet was passed around for volunteers to head up different committees to address the various needs within the neighborhood, i.e., crime-free multi-housing, newsletter, neighborhood cleanups, etc.
Election of Officers:

Vice-President ?– Hugh McCarthy
Secretary ?– John Cise
Treasurer ?– Beverly Van Den Borre
Meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:30.
