2008 WINTER HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Hello everyone,

Both Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day for 2008 are on a Thursday. This
means we will work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of those weeks.
Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day we will close and services for both
Thursday and Friday of those weeks will be delayed one day.

Last year we had one or two days where our routes were effected by
inclement weather. I was able to email most cities to let them know the
status of collection at that time. If you prefer for me to use a different
email address or to add an email address to my list of notification,
please let me know.

RESIDENTIAL HOLIDAYS 2009


HOLIDAYS. Rumpke observes six holidays a year for residential customers. If one of your collection days falls on or after an observed holiday during that week i. e. Monday through Friday, your collection day for that week will be postponed one day. If a holiday occurs on Saturday or Sunday, your collection day will not change.

NEW YEAR’S DAY, THURSDAY JANUARY 1, 2009. Rumpke will provide regularly scheduled services on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. There will be no collections on Thursday, January 1. Customers regularly scheduled for Thursday or Friday, will receive service one day later than usual.

MEMORIAL DAY, MONDAY MAY 25, 2009. There will be no collections on Memorial Day, May 25. Rumpke will begin this week’s collections on Tuesday by servicing the regular Monday routes. All services for this week will be one day later than usual.

INDEPENDENCE DAY, SATURDAY JULY 4, 2009. Rumpke will provide regularly scheduled services this week. A holiday on Saturday does not effect your collection day.

LABOR DAY, MONDAY SEPTEMBER 7, 2009. There will be no collections on Labor Day, September 7. As above on Memorial Day, all services for this week will be one day later than usual.

THANKSGIVING DAY, THURSDAY NOVEMBER 26, 2009. Rumpke will provide regularly scheduled services on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. There will be no collections on Thursday, November 26. Customers regularly scheduled for Thursday or Friday will receive service one day later than usual.

CHRISTMAS DAY, FRIDAY DECEMBER 25, 2009. Rumpke will provide regularly scheduled services on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. There will be no collections on Friday, December 25. Customers regularly scheduled for Friday will receive service on Saturday.
