NEIGHBORS ASSOCIATION

East Cheesman Neighbors Association is a registered neighborhood organization of the City and County of Denver, Colorado. Founded May 21, 1995, the organization includes the area from 13th Avenue to 10th Avenue and Josephine to Cheesman Park. East Cheesman Neighbors Association represents all residents living within its boundaries. All residents within the boundaries are automatically members of the organization. No dues are charged. Free will donations support the organization. Meetings are held periodically, as deemed appropriate by residents and the officers.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of East Cheesman Neighbors Association is to preserve and enhance the existing urban fabric and the unique quality of life within our boundaries and the larger community. We actively support preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of our neighborhood and the "green space " within and around the neighborhood.


GOAL STATEMENT:

The goal of East Cheesman Neighbors Association is to continually increase the aesthetic value of our community, maintaining and enhancing the unique residential character of this predominantly Victorian era neighborood. We vigorously support a vibrant, diverse urban environment and oppose encroachment by non residential usage or activities which threaten the peace and tranquility of our neighborhood.

About our association

EAST CHEESMAN BOUNDARIES

East Cheesman Neighbors Association represents all residents within the boundaries of:

North:13th Ave,
South The Botanic Gardens,
East:west side of Josephine, and
West:Cheesman Park

All residents of East Cheesman are automatically voting members of the association. "Golden Members" are contributing members, whose contributions support the association to participate in larger organizations such as Capitol Hill United Neighbors, Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation (INC), Colfax On and The Hill (COTH), the Neighborhood Advisory Committee to the Botanic Gardens, and the Center for The People of Capitol Hill. Contributions may be made to East Cheesman Neighbors Association C/O 1154 Gaylord Street, Denver CO 80206.
