Eastgate Garden Civic Association
Eastgate & Near East Area Commission
Eastgate is under the jurisdiction of the NEAC (Near East Area Commission). It is located in the Northeast District (District 2).
The boundaries for District 2 are:
North - I-670
South - Broad St
East - Alum Creek
West - Ohio Ave.
About Eastgate
Eastgate is a large 1940's subdivision seperated from the remaining community by the railroad tracts. The architecture of the homes differ greatly from the rest of the Near East side. Eastgate, built much later than the remaining east side community, remains well-maintained.

The Purpose of Eastgate Civic Assn.
The purpose of the Eastgate Garden Civic Association, Inc. is to promote and maintain civic interest of all Eastgate residents, to work for general community improvement and to promote the general welfare of the area known and described as “Eastgate”, City of Columbus, Ohio as so recorded in the records of Franklin County, Ohio.
