Encino Bluff is a community of 212 homes located approximately 2 and 1/2 miles east of the intersection of Highway 281 and Encino Rio Road (one mile north of Loop 1604). Recent homes sold in Encino Bluff have ranged in price from $90,000 to $139,900.
The association was formed in late 1989. In June of 2000, the Encino Bluff Homeowners Association began working with MGM Realty Services, a locally-owned property management company.
Encino Bluff is located within the city limits of San Antonio in Bexar County. It is in City Council District 9 and County Precinct 3.
Encino Bluff children attend schools located in the North East Independent School District. Specifically, Encino Bluff is served by Encino Park Elementary School, Frank Tejeda Middle School, and Ronald Reagan High School.

Encino Bluff HOA is a mandatory association with 212 member homes. It has a four person executive board who serve a one year term. Board members stand for election each year at the annual meeting in January. Dues are paid annually, due January 1. Standing committees include Architectural Control, Standards, and Hospitality.
There is a locally-owned property management company. Together, the Board and DMC manage the Association and work to ensure the homes in the neighborhood are in compliance with the protective covenants and by-laws of the Association.
The Association offers the following: "Encino Bluff News" (the official newsletter of the Encino Bluff HOA); sponsorship of annual events including National Night Out, Community Garage Sale and Easter Egg Hunt; landscaping and maintenance of neighborhood entryways and signs; and coordination of Cellular on Patrol (COPS) and Good Neighbor Program (GNP).
