What math? Doesn't that ( math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) take two sets of numbers? I am computer literate enough to find the current budget now that someone was kind enough to point out the location. BUT, I have yet to see a copy of the proposed budget. Clue me in; how do I compare the current and proposed without the numbers in the proposed. Thank you so much in advance for your kind help.

I just read in Mayor Odom-Groh's very nicely writtem notes about the recent Commission meeting about the first reading of the new budget. Would it be possible to post a copy of that on this site? (Oh Lordy, I hope it's not already on here somewhere and I couldn't find it. Reba would be on me like velcro quicker than quick can get ready.) |

Did I hear correctly that the COMMISSION went into "executive" meeting to discuss voting on a pay raise of city salary? REALLY? For What? The current city clerk was just hired two months ago. To my knowledge she is the only one that gets paid. Have you heard what is in the proposed 2011-12 budget? They are defiant in their stance against posting it on this site. Seems to me that posting it for the tax-paying public to view and discuss would be in the best interest of the city. Metro posted their proposed budget. |

How many paid employeees does Bellemeade have?
Mayor Groh has not yet received a copy of the proposed budget. Whose responsibility is it to prepare that budget? This is all one gigantic mess.
Mayor, I don't know you and would not recognize you if I saw you, but it appears that some positive leadership is needed here. We do have a right to know IN ADVANCE how our tax money is being spent. All you have done is banter and quibble with the people who simply requested that the proposal be posted on this site so we ALL would have an opportunity to read it and discuss it.
You know, that "come to the meetings" line that you all use is rather phony. Keep us FULLY informed or resign. A copy of my coments are going to the media - this is improper use of public trust. |
