QUESTION: "Who, living today, would you like to have lunch with and why?"
One of our lay people when he heard the question "Who, living today, would you like to have lunch with?" responded, "anybody who would pay". I must admit that is a pretty good response.
My answer, however, would be that I would like to sit down and have lunch with Rev. Billy Graham. I believe that Rev. Graham has been the most influential representative of God in my lifetime. He has withstood all of the attacks of the enemy in our culture. Not only has he withstood them but his ministry has been blessed from the begining. I believe the reason for God's blessing upon his ministry is that Billy Graham has been a faithful and obedient servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has maintained his integrity throughtout his lifetime and will go down in history with other great men and women of God. People like John Wesley, Martin Luther, Billy Sunday, Dwight L. Moody and the like. The reason I would like to have lunch with him would be to simply fellowship with him in the hope that somehow some of his greatness would rub off on me.
