Healthy Start Mom’s and Babies Celebrate Halloween!

On Tuesday, October 29th Healthy Start Care Coordinators Lilia and Sandy hosted a Halloween party for the mother?’s support group held weekly at the Key West Library. Over 20 moms and 20 babies joined in the fun dressed as tigers, ballerina?’s, bumble bees, and cows! It was quite a circus! This support group is compromised of many committed mother?’s who gather weekly to play and learn about their child?’s development.
Recently, the American Red Cross provided a free, informal presentation to this group on infant CPR and First Aid. The Coalition purchased participant handbooks and skill cards for each mom who attended.
