Mission Statement:

''The mission of the Florida Keys Outreach Coalition, Inc is to provide homeless individuals and families with the resources and opportunities by which to attain residential, financial and personal stability and self-sufficiency. The FKOC further seeks to address the causes of homelessness and work toward its elimination in Monroe County, Florida.''

Sun Houses for the Homeless:

The FKOC operates five transitional housing facilities known as ''Sun Houses''. Three house up to 55 homeless men and two are for a mix of 35 homeless women and children.

Services Include: Case Management, Referrals, Drug Testing, Personal Finance Management, Support Meetings, Transportation, Life Skills Training and Educational Programs.

The FKOC Outreach office is open Monday-Friday to conduct pre-admission interviews, provide personal care items, referrals and assistance with family reunification. The Loaves and Fish Food Pantry also operates from this location and provides urgent need food and diapers to needy families and individuals.
