The Foster Target Area Project is running full speed ahead. Thanks to a recently obtained RACC (Regional Arts and Culture Council) Grant, a neighborhood kiosk will be installed in front of SE Works on SE Foster Rd. this fall. The project called 'The Town Crier' will display local community events and neighborhood news and will be the product of collaboration with local artist Clay Hoffman and neighborhood design professionals. 'The Town Crier' will be fabricated by a youth work training group and will be installed this fall.

Ten or so people living in neighborhoods around the Foster Target Area are taking an eight-week introductory Russian conversation class through PCC's Southeast Center.
Our goal in learning the Russian language is to foster increased understanding and dialogue with our Russian neighbors and businesses.

Planning is currently underway for fall events on SE Foster Rd. Stay tuned for updates in future issues.
