That stinks!

I appreciate you all giving it a shot.

Just a thought...

Neighborhoods that have pools that are for "members only" are allowed to bring visitors.  Can Lakes of River Trails members bring visitors to their ponds or is that not covered under their insurance.  I have several friends over there that would invite me. lol

I would like to see that insurance contract.  I think that was probably their easiest way of saying "No, we don't want you." without causing to much anguish and ill will.

Good move Lakes. I'm not mad at you. Wink

There used to be several signs posted by the gameand fish commission ( I think)  around the "lake" that said it was dangerous to eat the fish caught in there due to the high levels of mercury and other contaminents that have been found in the Trinity River.  Last time I walked around the lake, all of those signs are gone.

So here I am again, probably posting more negative energy by lazy people sitting at their computers.... Simple questions for those in the know:

1. The pond and the surrounding grounds at the southeast corner of River Trails is private and we (RT residents) are not allowed on the grounds?

2. If it's private, did my tax dollars get used in the creation and maintenance of the sidewalks, fencing, drainage, upkeep,...?

3. Why are there not gates on the sidewalks to keeps us out?

A few folks out there are very adept at finding this info. Much better to hear that than the hear-say so prevalent these days. I'm really trying to be careful about my tresspassing, it is such a HOT issue.

I am confused.  Where is it that we are not allowed to trespass?  Is it the pond nearest the Trinity River? If we live in River Trails,  we are not allowed to walk around the pond?   Who is the person in charge of removing those who are not allowed.  I would like to see some Barney Fife wanna be try to make me leave from a  walk around the lake.  Who has that kind of time to go sit down there and ask for ID cards to make sure you are allowed on property.  I noticed a new chain link fence at the corner where the gravel drive heads to the gas well along Precinct.
