The last part of that proverbs deals with some of where we are today. There is a way that SEEMS right to a man, but it leads to destruction. There's much to say about the socioeconomic status of today, in the midst of high idolatry and family lead astray.

I've witnessed the behaviors of people who were obviously drunk. Drunk on power, Drunk on prestige, Drunk on Jealously, Drunk on Envy, lured darkness seeming right.

The unteachable, perfectionist, leader of faith and degree missed a spot. History has repeated itself once again the Israel and Judah the Peculiar people being led astray by Ahab, Jezebel, Pharoah, and the characters reveal the evil perpatrated against the familial status for the sake of money, power, prestige.

Abuse set in the realm of control that has a destructive pattern in the hands we are suppose to be able to trust.
