Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. is a sisterhood of distinguished, congenial business and professional women offering community service, networking, sisterhood and leadership opportunities to bsuiness and, or civic-minded women in Northern New Jersey.
Women in business and, or professional fields of good moral character and reputation with no less than two years of college training or professional experience may apply. No sorority experience and women from all walks of life are welcomed!
Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. was founded in February of 1943 at Lewis Business College in Detroit, Michigan by blood-sisters Violet T. Lewis and Elizabeth Garner.
The sorority contributes annually to charitable organizations that are involved in serving humanity and whose objectives reflect its’ mission. The sorority provides service to the community; including, volunteer work in hospitals, nursing homes, public schools, tutoring, literacy, and programs for the elderly. In addition, the sorority provides a college scholarship to graduating high school seniors, mentors children through youth auxiliaries and hosts an annual Artists of Tomorrow program for youth artists.
