Gateway West Neighborhood homes were built in the 1960’s. Of the 556 homes, the majority are ranch- style with one car garage attached. However, there are bi-level and two-story homes that have two car garage.
Gateway West Neighborhood has its on City Park located next to IPS School #109. Just minutes away you can enjoy Northwest Way, Gustafson, and Eagle Creek Parks. Also, there is Go Kart and Batting Cage right up the street on West 38th Street. If you don’t being outdoors and enjoy skating, United Skates of America is located just right around the corner.
If your car breaks down don’t worry the city bus line (Indy Go) is located on Gateway and Moller and Gateway and High School Road.
Gateway West Neighborhood is surrounded by several convenient shopping available such as but not limited to Meijer, Target, Value City, Layette Square Mall, and Wal-Mart coming soon in 2008.

Gateway West is a multi cultural residential area. Many of the residents have lived in the neighborhood for 5 to 40 years. Several of the residents are families with younger children. Also, some residence operate their own small business such as; Lawn Care Service, Locksmith, Realtor, Avon and Home Decorative Sales Person, Child Care, Plus many more.
In 2012 we are hoping to have our own neighborhood community center. This will help in providing assistance to our children, elderly and the community.
