Glenkindie

The Glenkindie Neighborhood Association was established and incorporated in 1982.  GNA is a 501c corporation. 

Our neighborhood:  Natural boundaries establish a cul-de-sac quality.  Yet all essential shopping, schools, churches, and parks are just around the corner from this Quince & Ridgeway location.  The Glenkindie neighborhood is comprised of 133 single family homes nestled in a convenient but quiet East Memphis corner. 

You will find neighbors that know their neighbors and will see familys taking walks.  Common sounds are band practice at Westminster Academy, soccer games at May Fields, and the church bells at Ridgeway Baptist Church.

Most homes were built in the mid-seventies.  The one and two story plans vary in styling but all provide ample room for growth inside and out.  Most homeowners also own large lawns and 30-40 year old native Tennessee shade trees.  Simple but sure lawn upkeep is the norm.  Average appraisals are in the 150's.  Glenkindie is a great and affordable neighborhood if you are raising a family or enjoying retirement.
