Awareness of Autism&Asperger's
Our Desire as Great Grandparents and Legal Guardians of a 14 yr old 8th grade young man with Autism is to create an Awareness and description of children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders, an ''umbrella '' for Autism Spectrum, Asperger's Syndrome, PDD-NOS and other Disorders.
It is our intent to reach out to the families, relatives, friends, neighbors and all the community to give support, information, and encouragement about the children affected by these Disorders.
We are not experts by any means but we are willing to
offer and discuss our experiences, challenges and info that we have gained during the last 3 middle school years parenting, special educationing and attending Professional Symposiums,local AEA , IEP,and school group meetings.
