Protect our Medians

Residents are reminded that no parking is allowed on the median areas within the city.

The city?’s irrigation system for the median along Green Spring Drive has sprinkler heads located about every ten feet within a foot of the pavement. The weight of a vehicle causes damage to the sprinkler heads and control valves located in these areas.
Please advise your guests that if they plan to park on the street to stay on the pavement. The roadway is wide enough for cars to pass.
The city has expended considerable funds this past year in repairs to the system.
