Kathy Murphy fielded questions from attendees on topics they’d like to learn more about relative to the neighborhood. Some ideas were information on Neighborhood Watch, identity theft, crime statistics, meth labs, code ordinances, area development.
It was mentioned that a prowler has recently been burglarizing homes in the Country Lane development. It was advised to contact the neighborhood Sheriff Liaison and report this activity. and if possible he can increase patrols.

Also mentioned was a problem rental house with a crowd of people living there causing a nuisance, several cars, minors present. They’ve been arrested several times and they keep coming back. Property owner (landlord) lives in Portland, is aware of the problems but does nothing about them. A suggestion was made to contact Child Protective Services and report the living environment of the minors as well as getting Clark County Code Enforcement involved. The owner will get fined for tenant violations.
