Highgate Springs Neighborhood Association

HISTORY

Highgate Springs Neighborhood Assoc., Inc. was formed in the spring of 2004. There are 1043 households within our boundaries which are Furman Blvd. to Hikes Lane, to Radiance Road, ending at Commander Drive.

We have wonderful access to the Bon Air Regional Library, shopping, bus lines, expressways, which makes our neighborhood a convenient area to live. There is also within walking distance several schools, both public and private, and churches.

BOARD

There are nine(9) positions on the Board. Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Parlimentarian (all 2 years terms), and four (4) At-Large Members (all one year terms). Any Association member, current on paid membership, is eligible to run for these postions. The Board meets monthly for one hour, presently at the Bon Air Library, and there are four (4) all membership quarterly meetings. Everyone is invited to attend the monthly Board meetings as well as the General Quarterly meetings.
