Meth Labs

How to know if your neighbor is cooking meth: chemical odor coming from house, garage, backyard, etc., windows and doors cracked or open at unusual housrs (to facilitate drying process), lots of garbage, unusual amounts of vehicle traffic at all hours around the home, neighbors lose weight, seem awake at strange hours or are active for long periods of time, or have burn marks or scabs on their faces and bodies.

Meth Garbage

Avoid garbage with chemical odor, watch for particular items tossed out togther or in excess (2 liter soda bottles, lithium batteries, cold medicine tablets, coffee filters, drain cleaner, paint thinner, matches, etc.), avoid touching bags or items with white powdery residue or burn marks, if you see suspicious looking trash, DO NOT PICK-UP. Leave the area and call 574-LMPD to report the items and location.
