just a guess. i could be wrong. my mistake. yes i wrote that and mean't it. i stand corrected.

i use my address. it was a conscious decision to encourage people to talk to me in person, not hide; as well as to be obvious that indeed i am a resident of Mitchell Park West NA. hard to tell if TD is or isnt or what your overall intentions are.

but you, as TD are adding very little to the advancement of the discussion of this topic or any other, with your 'name calling'. as such you should 'come out' from behind your 'aka'. but that is your choice. i generally prefer to speak in person anyway.

Also, by not advancing the discussion, you are also subverting the intention of this website 'to increase means of COMMUNICATION in the community' that was a stated priority goal of the previous and current Board and Chair.

this site has a webmaster, and i will recommend that all comments by TD be removed, and that TD not be allowed to post in the future.

*and as far as being a 'tool' you have mis-applied the definition , "always look in the mirror first before labelling anyone else". My parents taught me that when i was very young.

I am Jack's fear of the dark.

Here's the latest report from Parks and Rec.  The shields on the luminaires were installed a couple of weeks ago.  The folloing messages came from Bob Pohlit on 8/18 and 21, respectively (I hope they format OK).

Mark Richwine was able to look at  the basketball court lights last night (he was out of the office all last week due to illness).
We are going to try another external test shield on the east court which extends 6" below the lexan (plastic vandal) shield. The test shields presently installed come down even with the lexan. Our City electrician will attempt to get these installed on Friday. We will see if this then makes a difference.
I was told today that the new basketball poles are scheduled to be installed on Friday, 8/28. I was also told that the contract and paperwork for the basketball court resurfacing is now complete. I will try to get an install date scheduled with the contractor by the end of this week. When they give me a date I'll let you know.
Thanks,
Bob

The basketball court resurfacing is scheduled to start on Tuesday,  September 8th.  Both courts will not be available for approximately 1 week.
