Homes On The Hill has accomplished a great deal since 1996:

Acquired and rehabilitated 25 homes. All have been sold or are for sale to first-time homebuyers, increasing the number of committed homeowners on the Hilltop.

Provided direct repairs to 25 homes owner-occupied homes to stabilize the homes and avoid more costly rehabilitation later.

Delivered homeownership training to 260 potential home buyers.

Developed and piloted a home maintenance course covering plumbing and electrical maintenance, fire safety, painting and caulking, roofs and gutters, and other topics.

Provided down payment assistance to households.

Grown from a staff of one to a staff of four full-time professionals.

Hired Columbus?’s first full-time Hispanic Outreach Coordinator at a community-based development organization.

In achieving these milestones, Homes On The Hill has demonstrated its dependability, its financial accountability, its strong integration within the communities of the Hilltop, and its skill at building and maintaining partnerships with government agencies, for-profit companies, and other nonprofit organizations.
