Since the biggest question people want to know is what are the annual dues for the neighborhood, I felt it necessary to post an approximate rate and what those fees cover.
For the 2007 calendar year, the dues were about $450.00, which was billed 1/2 in January and 1/2 in July. Again, these are the 2007 rates and simply an approximate at that.
What do those fees cover?
- Administrative HOA Expenses
- Landscaping (mulch/bedding, tree/shrub service, irrigation maintenance, restoration, lot maintenance)
-Maintenance & Repairs (entry lights repairs, fence repair, street/sidewalk, other)
-Clubhouse
-Contracts (snow removal, HOA mgmnt. fees)
-Pool (ALL things pool related)
-Insurance (liability & property)
-Professional fees (legal, accounting)
-Utilities (electric entrance & irrigation, irrigation water, street light bills)
-Taxes (state)
-Bad Debt / Acconts Receivable / Write-offs
-Seasonal decor

This budget is NOT a secret document, it's "our" neighborhood's money and how it's being spent, which we have a right to be informed about.
