HEATLEY CEMETERY

Just wanted to provide an update on the information regarding the cemetery on Honiasant Road.
 

First off the name of the cemetery is "Heatley Cemetery" and according to the Property Valuation Admin the owner is unknown. Parcel ID - 1384164A0000 Acres - 0.07 the deed is located in Plat Book 31 pg.90 IH Sec 5 164A, Deeds Office phone number is 574.6220.

If the Association would like to obtain a copy of this deed it may do so by contacting the Deeds Office.


On 9/15/2008 Department of Codes & Regulations conducted an inspection of the site after receiving a call from a resident thru Metro Call. The
Violation was noted as (Cleaning/Maintenance Required, High Grass and
Tree Branches)

After talking with the inspector, R. Griffin (502.773.2051) he informed me that because the owner is unknown the issue will be forward to Public Works for cleaning of the area. No time was given as to when they will conduct this cleanup, possibly in a couple of months depending on their work load.

Mr. Griffin made the suggestion that we invite neighbors to help with just keeping the grass cut, which should be easy to do since I've completed the cleanup of the lot this past Sunday. A re inspection should occur 10/15/2008.
