Jackson Park Highlands is a beautiful, tiny neighborhood of grand mansions and lush landscaping, sitting just south of Jackson Park, designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted for the 1893 Worlds Fair. The Fair was a smashing success and the Park has remained one of the premier parks in the Chicago area. It features a Japanese garden and an 18 hole golf course. The Highlands is a historic district designated as a Chicago Landmark and home to both Jesse Jackson and Bo Diddley.
