Do you knit or crochet? Would you like to learn? Do you want to have a fun evening creating items to nuture others? Do you want to knit or crochet in an environment that appreciates laughter, and community? Then join us weekly to create healing shawls and clothing for those in need of a symbolic and loving hug. All items are created in a spirit of love and community. We create shawls for men, women & children having health challenges, wool clothing for orphans in Khazakstan, Preemie hats and blankets, scarves, hats and gloves for Winton Hills Academy, socks for military men and women . . .and numerous other projects. Knit One, Heal Too is self-supporting through donations. No items are sold.
Few requirements: a desire to create and give, respect for all, love of community and ABOVE ALL a sense of humor. This is a ''spiritual activity'' open to people of all faiths.
We have men and women, so don't stay away because you're a male!
When: Tuesdays, 6-9 pm weekly
